LADIS

Life and Disability Insurance Services (LADIS) is an agency within Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota (BCBSMN), which is responsible for life insurance operations in coordination with USAble Life. LADIS of BCBSMN is the resource for life and disability insurance products and oversees the combine billed groups that have both medical and ancillary products.

Why LADIS? 

• LADIS provides first-stop, quality customer service for our insurance agents and group leaders.
  
• LADIS personnel serve as Subject Matter Experts for USAble Life, the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota sales staff, and the Strategic Relationship team.
  
• LADIS performs the following operational functions:
  
• Scrubs proposals and prepares census records for Group Underwriting
  
• Reviews Group Applications 
  
• Sets up all combine billed groups and processes maintenance for terminations and additions
  
• Tracks business, produces sales and incentive reports, and manages renewals 
  
• Produces data for 5500 reporting
  
• LADIS will enroll group membership, as requested.
